Upon the untimely passing of Geoff Kinney Sr. of Duron Ontario Ltd. in 1985, the cement finishing industry established The Geoff Kinney Award in recognition of his many contributions to the concrete finishing industry in Ontario. Mr. Kinney was a true industry leader, also giving much volunteer time to local, provincial and national construction associations as well.
This award is presented annually to individuals who exemplify this outstanding service and selfless dedication to the concrete floor industry.
